Awards Ceremony

The inaugural IU Awards successfully concluded on 21 September 2012 with an awards ceremony honouring the eight winners in the Jewellery Design and Gem-Cutting categories.

Representatives of UBM Asia (UBM) and International Colored Gemstones Association (ICA), co-organisers of the IU Awards, were joined by representatives of TanzaniteOne, theme concept sponsor, and the panel of judges at the awards ceremony held during the Welcome Reception of the September Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair 2012 at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre.

Representatives of the International Colored Gemstone Association (ICA) and

at the Welcome Reception of the September Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair 2012

At the event Mr Wolfram Diener, Senior Vice President of UBM and Mr Wilson Yuen, President of ICA introduced and honoured the eight winners of the IU Awards. Later, guests were treated to a spectacular jewellery parade of the winning pieces and finalists in the Jewellery Design category.
